User Experience Lead at Contently

Contently is looking for an experienced UXer to join ourproduct team. You’ll be responsible for ensuring our powerful Enterprise content marketing platform (SaaS) is easy and delightful to use and delivers a consistent experience throughout the entire customer journey. We’re looking for someone who’s comfortable with a fast paced startup environment, which means you’ll be given great ownership, but are required to be a self-starter and self organized.

What You'll Do: 
  • Be our internal UX expert and evangelist; keep us honest
  • Collaborate with account and product management to understand
    our customers and their needs
  • Conduct your own research and leverage the tons of data we have
  • Work closely with with product managers, visual designers and developers to deliver an amazing user experience across our suite of products
  • Be the keeper of our pattern library
  • Develop a framework for scoring our UX across the different
    product components and together with our product managers derive a plan for
    which areas to improve and how

Who You Are: 

  • Successfully worked at a startup, i.e. comfortable with complex and unstructured problems, high degree of autonomy in a fast paced environment, getting shit done, being self motivated and organized
  • 3+ years experience working on an Enterprise SaaS product in an agile environment
  • Solid portfolio demonstrating strong UX / UI
  • Proven success designing across devices (responsive) and
    building pattern libraries
  • Experience in conducting usability testing and user research
  • Did we mention information architecture?
  • Bonus: Frontend prototyping skills
  • Data-informed, i.e. comfortable with using data to guide product decisions, experienced in defining needed tracking, experience with Google Analytics, Mixpanel or similar products, comfortable defining and running experiments
  • Experience with agile product development methodologies (lean, iterative, collaborative, hands on, fast)
  • Great communicator (intra-company across teams, clients)
